Wishing everyone a happy new year! In Japan, people say “ Yoi otoshi o” until today (December 31) which means “have a good new year”. By tomorrow (January 1) onwards, we greet each other with “Akemashite omedetou gozaimasu. Kotoshi mo yoroshiku onegaishimasu!”. “Yoroshiku onegaishimasu” has no exact * English equivalent. Feel free to comment if you have some insights, haha!
