“While traveling through Nicaragua with some friends, and looking for a new adventure, a few locals recommended that we go sandboarding down the side of this volcano— which was an epic experience, to say the least. Never would I have thought that I’d be hiking to the top of a volcano, only to sandboard down it, and yet here I was, making the trek to the top under this beautifully illuminated sky. We had no idea what to expect, and honestly, we were all pretty nervous. The whole experience was such an adrenaline rush, and we were all buzzing by the time we got to the bottom. Looking back at this moment, my excitement grows for future adventures that await when it’s safe to travel once more. It instills hope and makes me feel so grateful for one of a kind experiences like these.
