Visiting Sri Lanka after August will be possible! BUT – you’ll have to be committed.

Sri Lanka is requiring four COVID-19 tests before you can set off to explore. The first test must be taken within 72 hours of your departure to Sri Lanka, and the second will be administered at the airport, on arrival, for free. While you’re waiting for the results — it could take up to 24 hours — you must wait in a hotel. Assuming you test negative, you will be required to take another test four to five days after arrival via a mobile unit, and if you’re staying longer, yet another test after 10 days.

What you’ll be greeted by though is a land of high tea trails, scores of ancient temples, and blue waters full of blue whales. There’s also amazing food, epic hiking, and the buzzing city of Colombo. Though small, Sri Lanka packs a punch. Best Travel Photo Travel Photo
