“This photo is a reminder of the power of never giving up. After three visits to Neuschwanstein Castle, I was able to finally capture the moment I’ve always envisioned. On my first visit to this 19th-century marvel of architecture, I remember arriving in Schwangau, feeling excited after a 2-hour drive from Munich. I thought I had everything I needed, prepared with my camera, an assortment of filters, and three different lenses, only to realize that I had forgotten my memory cards in my laptop back at the hotel. On my second visit, I planned to arrive for sunrise, and I did—this time, memory cards in tow. However, a combination of low cloud and fog resulted in photos that did not quite meet my expectations. Lastly, on my third visit, I found myself in Munich after a trip to Austria. My flight back to London wasn’t until the following morning due to a logistics mix up, so I decided to rent a car and drive down once more. I arrived just before sunset, and after hiking up to Mary’s Bridge and taking several photos with my camera, it dawned on me to try something new from an aerial perspective. I drove back to Munich in a state of awe at the sunset I had just witnessed. Looking back, I can say that none of this would have been possible if I hadn’t persevered and followed my passion. Things don’t always work out, but with perseverance and a little luck, it is possible to end up with an outcome better than our best-made plans.” ? @pixelpann ?Neuschwanstein Castle, Germany ??
