The Government of the Faroe Islands has announced plans to re-open borders to a greater degree to visitors from 15 June
Travelers from Denmark, Greenland, Norway, Germany and Iceland
Tourists with residency in Denmark, Greenland, Norway, Germany and Iceland will be able to travel to the Faroe Islands from 15 June without the need to self-quarantine. Additionally, there will be no minimum requirements for number of overnights in the Faroe Islands.
Proof of Covid-19 test
Travellers from Denmark, Greenland, Iceland, Norway and Germany must present proof to the carrier of a negative COVID-19 test that has been taken within five days prior to arrival in the Faroe Islands.
Travelers from other countries
Travel from countries other than Denmark, Greenland, Norway, Germany and Iceland is discouraged.
