East Java is one of the provinces in Indonesia. No wonder East Java is one of the destination choices for local and foreign tourists. In 2017 alone, East Java received 700 thousand foreign tourists. This number is expected to increase this year, because the government is aggressively developing tourism potentials.

One of the tourism objects in East Java is Slopeng Beach, which is located not far from Madua. The beach, which stretches for 6 kilometers, is located in the northern part of Sumenep Regency, precisely on Jalan Raya Ambunten Kilometer 17, Samaan Village, Dasun District. Slopeng Beach is located about 22 kilometers from the center of Sumenep Regency.

Ticket prices at Slopeng Beach

One of the considerations in determining a tourist destination is the issue of cost. You don’t need to worry if you choose Slopeng Beach as your next vacation destination. To visit this beach, you are only charged an entrance ticket of Rp. 5,000 .- / person.

If you bring a vehicle while on vacation here, you will be charged a parking fee of Rp. 5,000 for motorbikes and Rp. 10,000, – for the car. With a relatively cheap price, you can already have a pleasant holiday at Slopeng Beach.

To go to Slopeng Beach, there are actually several alternative paths to choose from. If you are outside Madura Island, take the Suramadu toll road. After exiting the toll booth, you only need to follow Jalan Raya Suramadu. When you find Pentol Suramadu’s restaurant, turn left onto Jalan Raya Burneh.

After that you will arrive at the Burneh Roundabout. Next is you take the direction of Jalan Raya Tanjung. From here you just have to go straight and take Jalan Pemuda Kaffa. After that you will arrive at a T-junction. Next you take the right lane to Jalan Kapten Syafiri. From here you go straight and then take the left onto Defense Street.

Next you will arrive at a large crossroad. You have to turn right onto Jalan Raya Bancaran. After that you will enter Jalan Raya Gebang. When you find an intersection, go straight to Jalan Raya Lajing.

At the first traffic light, you go straight to Jalan Raya Klampis. After that take Jalan Raya Ten and continue straight onto Jalan Raya Tanjung Bumi. After arriving at Jalan Raya Macajah, you take the direction of Jalan Raya Pasongsongan. After that you will arrive at Jalan Raya Ambunten. You arrive at Slopeng Beach.

If you are from Sumenep City Center, take Jalan Doktor Soetomo from Sumenep City Adipura Park. From there you have to turn left onto Jalan Raya Sumenep. When you find a T-junction, turn left and take Jalan Jendral Sudirman.

After that turn right onto Jalan Pendekar. When you reach the second traffic light, take the left lane and turn onto Jalan Kartini. When you find Warung Man Nyaman Ibu Wiwik you have to turn right onto Jalan Halim Perdana Kusuma. After arriving at Pamolokan Flower Park, turn left to take the Waterway Road.

After walking for about 800 meters, you will arrive at an intersection. You have to turn left onto Jalan Raya Manding. Then you will enter Jalan Raya Dasuk. From the Manding T-junction, turn left and enter Jalan Raya Ambunten. You only need to walk about 700 meters to get to Slopeng Beach.

However, if you are from the direction of Lombang the first thing to do is enter Jalan Raya Batang-Batang Batu Putih. From that path you will arrive at a T-junction. Turn right onto Jalan Raya Dasuk. When you see Puskesmas Dasuk, you will turn right. After arriving at the Manding T-junction, turn left. You arrive at Slopeng Beach.

Attractions in Slopeng Beach

So what can be done when visiting Slopeng Beach? The following are some recommendations for you when traveling to this beach.

1. Swim at Slopeng Beach

The first thing to do when traveling to the beach, of course, is swimming. You don’t need to worry, because Slopeng Beach has quite calm waves. You can use this for swimming or just playing water with your family.

One of the differences that Slopeng Beach has with other beaches is that this beach has a stretch of sand that resembles a desert. Usually the beaches are decorated with coconut trees or mangrove trees.
