The waterfall which has another name Curug Ciputri, Siputri and Putri Palutungan has a height of about 20 meters. Its existence juts in, surrounded by cliffs and cool shady trees.
A tree that is tall and large enough is its main attraction because it provides shade for this tourist spot.
When viewed from a distance, the shape of the waterfall resembles the appearance of a princess wearing a white dress. To be clearer, you can take pictures at a slow speed.
The hardening discharge was quite large, but the water splashing did not wet the visitors around it. In front of it, there is a pool that accommodates the outpouring of a waterfall.
Not very deep, only waist-high for an adult, so it can be used for bathing and swimming. The water is clear enough because it comes from natural forest springs in the Ceremai Mountain National Park area.
If the protected forest in that area is well preserved and well maintained, of course the clear and clean water will continue to flow.
History of Myths
Like Curug Bangkong which has an interesting origin, namely the mystery of a hermit character who turns into a frog or in Sundanese it is called Bangkong, Putri Palutungan Waterfall is the same.

It is a sign that the goddesses are coming down to earth. Because of this history, the surrounding community believes that Curug Putri has properties and can bring blessings. During the Dutch colonial period, the colonialists also lived in the Palutungan area. The evidence of his legacy is a former tea factory in the Erpah region.
