Rising above the modern lower town, the Alhambra and the Albaycín, situated on two adjacent hills, form the medieval part of Granada. This magnificent destination is a top tourist destination and in the past has been a little difficult to get tickets to. Recently though this has changed and an updated ticket policy has made it much easier for non-travel agency people to get advanced tickets.
This treasured spot was added to the @UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1984. *
