Kampung Coklat was originally a cocoa plantation owned by Mr. Kholid Mustofa’s family. The plantation area is about 750 square meters. Starting from a loss in the laying hen farm business, Mr. Mustofa saw an opportunity that his cocoa garden would be more promising if he was engaged and developed professionally.

After studying at PTPN XII Blitar, Pak Kholid finally pursued cocoa cultivation by collaborating with a number of colleagues formed in a community called Gapoktan Guyub Santoso which was founded on January 1, 2005. Until finally in 2013 this community was able to produce processed chocolate with local tastes under the brand GuSant which is taken from the words of Guyub Santoso. GuSant has a network of cocoa farmers in Blitar of up to 48 groups.
