The beach began to develop and get crowded in 2015, from dirt roads and plastic huts to better conditions today, such as paved roads, selfie spots, wooden huts, diving equipment rental, cottages etc. Currently Jikomalamo Beach is the main destination for tourists, both local Ternate and outside the region, with a nice bay-shaped location, clear water, good coral reefs and lots of fish in the location, making the visitors linger to bathe in the sea. It only needs to be tidied up again for the food huts and arrangements so that the boats / speed boats do not casually pass in the bay area so as not to endanger tourists who are swimming or diving.
