“I was on vacation in California and wanted to check out the place where legends like Frank Sinatra famously hung out: Palm Springs. Full of desert modern and mid-century modern houses, classic cars, and mountain views, it’s both a quaint destination and a photographer’s paradise, especially if you like going for a vintage feel with your images. The mountains, flowers, palm trees, and airstream caught my eye when passing this place, and I couldn’t resist taking the picture. It looks like I could have taken it in the 1950s, which is what still makes it so interesting to look at, for me.”

Close your eyes and picture the United States — odds are, you’re envisioning something that looks a lot like this. So how do you capture “Americana?” Head to the link in our bio to find out, and look out for part 2 of the series to follow soon. ? @misterbeebs?Palms Springs, California, USA ?? Best Travel Photo
