The development of tourist attractions in Indonesia never seems to die, huh? Almost every year, there are new tourist sites inaugurated by the local government. For example, a few months ago, there was a new tourist spot in Central Java which was inaugurated by Ganjar Pranowo named Saloka Theme Park.
This tourist spot is dubbed as the biggest recreation place in Central Java. The total area of land built reaches 18 ha. The facilities and rides for the games are also very different and complete. No wonder, Saloka Theme Park is always crowded with tourists from the beginning of its opening until now.
Even though the early 2020 holidays have passed, you can enter Saloka Park into the wishlist of tourist attractions to visit on your next vacation.
To be able to enjoy all the rides and facilities provided by Saloka Park Semarang, you have to pay an entrance ticket of IDR 120,000 / person (weekdays), and IDR 150,000 / person (weekends and red dates).
The entrance ticket price does not include parking fees if you bring a private vehicle. For motorbikes, a parking fee of Rp. 2,000 and Rp. 5,000 for cars.
Road to Location
Since Saloka Park is the largest recreational area in Central Java, its location is certainly very easy to find. Moreover, Saloka Park is located on the main road of the Solo-Semarang route.
In addition, Saloka Park is also very strategic, which is only 10 minutes from the Bawen terminal and toll exit, 15 minutes from the Salatiga toll exit, and 45 minutes from Semarang Airport (Ahmad Yani).
For those of you who bring a private vehicle from the direction of Semarang, there are 2 options to go to Saloka. Namely through the toll lane or the main route. Then after passing the Bawen toll exit, just point your vehicle to the left. From there the Saloka Theme Park is only 5km away.
Then the route for private vehicles from the direction of solo, can pass between the Salatiga lane or the ring road. From there, you only need to walk straight towards Semarang. Saloka park is on the left side of the road, precisely on Jalan Fatmawati 154, Tuntang.
Apart from private vehicles, access to Saloka Park is also very easy to pass by public transportation. Because the Fatmawati road is the route traversed by the Solo-Semarang bus.
The new recreation area officially opened on June 22, 2019, in fact it provides a variety of exciting games. Not only for children, but there are various extreme rides that adults can play.
Even Saloka Park divides the rides into 5 zones. Namely the Coastal Zone, the Balalantar Zone, the Kamayayi Zone, the Ararya Zone and finally the Segara Prada Zone. Where each zone offers different game rides.
1. Coastal Zone
This is the first zone you will encounter at Saloka Park. Once inside, you will feel like you are on a real beach. Starting from the decoration, the interior to the shape of the building, it really looks like a beach atmosphere. Very unique huh?
In this coastal zone you will also find several game rides such as the Galileo Park, the Galileo Lumbung, the Jenju Ship Replica, to entertainment at the Jejogedan arena. But it’s not only a vehicle for games, you can also explore culinary delights in some of the cafes provided.
2. The Balalantar Zone
After being satisfied playing in the coastal or beach zone, you can continue to enter the Balalantar zone. Where this zone will take you like going to a real wilderness. The decorations are made all in green, the shape of the building is made to look like a tree house or a mushroom.
Like being in the wilderness, the roads in the Balalantar zone are filled with green plants and trees. The games offered are also forest-themed such as Kumbang Layang, Floating Mushrooms, Angon Ingon, Child Safari, and Adu Nyali (Haunted House).
3. Kamayayi Zone
Well, zone one is made especially for children. All decorations and interiors are made for play and study. Even the rides that are offered are very friendly for children.
Some of the most recommended games in the kamayayi zone are Sea Horse Comedy, Spray-on, Butterfly, Teka-teapot, Polah Boys, Tata-titi and Polah Boys. In addition to rides, the Kamayayi Zone also provides food trucks and ice cream shops which are of course very popular with children
4. The Ararya Zone
This zone is suitable for those of you who like to do challenging things, because the rides on offer are very adrenaline-inducing. Usually those who feel at home in this zone are teenagers and adults.
Some of the most extreme rides in this zone are Bengak-bengok, senggal-senggol, drugs-abit and paku bumi. However, there are some relaxing games that you can try while enjoying the view at Saloka Park, namely the duck pond and jungle café.
5. Zone Segara Prada
For those of you who like water games, you must visit the Segara Prada zone. Because only in this zone, you can find all very exciting water games. Apart from being invited to get wet, the rides in this zone will trigger your adrenaline a little.
Now, to find out the details of the game in the 5 zones, you can check directly on the Saloka website, namely at www.salokapark.com
The facilities at the Saloka Theme Park are comparable to the HTM set. Namely providing 4 food trucks scattered in several Saloka Park zones. Then there are 3 restaurants and 2 ice cream shops to quench the thirst of visitors when they are tired of playing in the 5 saloka park zones.
Toilets, prayer rooms as well as seats and trash cans are scattered at several points of the saloka park. There are even buses provided to take tourists from the parking lot to the location of the game for free.
And if you and your family are planning to stay overnight, the saloka theme park team can also recommend several star hotels located around the saloka theme park.
a. If your location is far from Semarang, Central Java, then you can leave earlier from home so that you can play longer hours at the Saloka Fun Park.
b. Bring a change of clothes, especially if you intend to try games in the Segara Prada Zone or games related to water, for example, sprays.
c. Come when the weather is clear because Saloka Fun Park is an outdoor themed recreation area. If forced to come during the rainy season, bring a raincoat so you can still be satisfied playing.
d. Prepare a camera or cellphone with a full battery so you can take photos and upload your exciting experiences on Instagram. Because in Saloka Park, you will find lots of Instagramable photo spots.
