West Java is a province that is known to have a higher land contour when compared to other areas in Java.
Apart from being famous as a vacation spot, West Java is also known to have mountains that are quite familiar to climbers or outdoor activists.
A series of mountains in West Java has an altitude between 1,000 and 3,000 masl. And some are known to be quite popular because they have such amazing natural beauty, that is the reason why they are often targeted by climbers.
Mountain nature tourism in West Java is arguably quite popular. At least there are about 364 mountains that can be found there.
As an area of the ring of fire, the province also has at least 20 volcanoes which have quite challenging tracks for climbers.

1. Mount Ciremai

9. Mount Malabar
